Beauty Pillow

Todays pick, the Beauty Bear and Slip Silk pillow case.  I don’t know about you, but some mornings I’ve noticed creases on my face when I wake up, they are obviously from my sheets and are not an attractive look.  I was telling a friend of mine about the creases, and we were having a discussion on how the best way to sleep, to avoid a sagging face, is on your back.  Well that’s when she told me about this great product by Nurse Jamie, Beauty Bear.  The Beauty Bear is an ergonomically shaped pillow that is supposed to help with anti-aging while you sleep.  The pillow features 2 U-shaped areas.  The smaller U is for the side sleeper.  Laying your face in the open part of the U, ensures that your skin isn’t getting crushed on one side preventing new wrinkles from forming.  The picture pretty much sums it up, hehe;)

The large U is for back sleepers, lay your head between the U and you have support for both you back and neck while getting the optimal beauty rest.  Using the pillow this way keeps you in that perfect position on your back, letting gravity help work its magic.

I know this all sounds crazy, at least that’s what my husband says, but it makes sense.  I must say, haven’t seen a sheet mark on my face since I started using the pillow. Makes a great gift too!  Get your Beauty Bear now…

When putting this post together, I actually stumbled upon another great product as well, the slip for beauty sleep silk pillowcase.  It is very similar to the beauty bear and is basically the same concept.  It doesn’t have the side sleep feature, however, it is a full size pillowcase that you can use on your own pillow.  This pillowcase works for anti-aging, anti-crease and anti-bedhead too (haha).

Comes in 4 colors!

Silk fibers are significantly less absorbent than many other fibers, so they help keep your skin’s moisture and expensive face and hair products where they belong—on your face and hair, not your pillow. Ordinary pillowcases can cause hair to pull and tangle throughout the night, leading to bed head in the morning and potentially damaging hair. Slipsilk can help reduce friction, too, which also aids in reducing stretching and tugging on delicate facial skin.

I’m thinking if I use both pillows together, I’ll get the maximum beauty rest.

Happy Friday;)
