So sorry that it has been so long my friends. This whole girl boss thing is keeping me crazy busy! The tee business is great, however, I needed to get back to the blog where it all began, my first love, Pearls To A Picnic. So here I am with a Thanksgiving tablescape inspiration for you.
Got it published just in the nick of time.
This tablescape started out with 2 black metal candelabra’s from Target. Those 2 pieces became the foundation of my centerpiece. From there I pulled a neutral table runner that I already had, my little clay pots from Nordstrom home years ago, and three perfectly sized birch branches that I threaded through the candelabra’s to complete my centerpiece. Easy enough right. I then added 3 glass bud vases with red/orange flowers, to add to the nature of the theme, as well as, for a pop of color.
When it came time for the place setting, I really didn’t want to do the usual white dishes. Then I remembered my Versace china. When I picked this china out years ago my taste was a little more formal, but I thought that it might be cool to mix the rustic centerpiece with my fancy pants Versace china! So cool, I loved the two styles together!
I decided to incorporate these antiqued brass place card holders, and napkin rings that say Gather, from the new Hearth & Hand collection at Target. The brass accents worked perfectly with the Versace china, yet still flowed with the rustic elements of the table.
Had to show you this cool little brass vase, too. It’s actually one piece, all 5 vases are attached to the brass dish on the bottom.
So simple and cute:)
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
